Lucknow's date with B'wood

This was Lucknow's day to shine in the B'wood stars' reflected glory.

Friday saw the presence of 10 Bollywood names in Lucknow. From Ranveer Singh, who's shooting in old Lucknow for Yash Raj Film's next, to Mahesh Bhatt who brought his play "The Last Salute" to the city, the stars did shine down on the city amply after the eclipse. 

Film promotions in the city generally see a dip during the summer months, when the weather here gets too hot to handle.

So, while Salman Khan skipped his tour of Lucknow to promote "Ready" for reasons he knows best, Lucknowite Roshan Abbas came with the cast of his directorial debut yesterday. 

Since "Always Kabhi Kabhi" had two shooting schedules in Lucknow, this was only expected. And while Roshan was keen to keep the stars of his film – Zoa Morani, Giselli Monteiro, Ali Fasal and Satyajeet Dubey – under wraps during the shooting, he was more than happy to take the cast around town this time.
