Infuriated by the director's rude behaviour, the actress walked out in protest
Mercurial Sara Khan is known to react in a fit of rage and make hasty decisions (be it marrying and divorcing in a week). But this time round it was apparently for a valid reason, as her anger was triggered due to Jafar, director of her show Ram Milaayi Jodi.
The actress, irked by the indecent behaviour of the director, stormed out of the sets. Reveals a source, "A new director has been appointed by the channel, who was being rude to most of the actors on the show. In fact, he always throws his weight around thinking that he has an upper hand since he has been appointed by the channel. But he realised that he had overstepped the line when Sara, peeved by his rude behaviour, walked out of the sets.
He used foul language and disrespected her, which infuriated Sara. She drove away in her car without saying a word."
However, Sara as usual rubbished it as rumour, "I didn't walk out. I genuinely had some work and I had informed the production house in advance. It had nothing to do with any spat with the director." We also contacted the director who refused to comment on the incident. Sources however,
confirm that the actress did stage a walkout and it was only after producer Rajita Sharma's intervention that the differences were settled. Her co-actor Nishant Malkani, however, supported the director and said, "Our director is a very well-behaved man and is extremely sweet to us. I think different people comprehend the same thing differently. What might look sweet to me may seem rude to someone else."
At last the drama ended!
