Karan Johar seems to be on launching spree. After launching Punit Malhotra, Ayaan Mukherjee and Siddharth Malhotra, he is all set to launch Mahesh Bhatt and David Dhawan's kids in his next .
Alia Bhatt, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, younger son of David Dhawan will debut in Karan Johar's next titled 'Student Of The Year'. The film is Karan's first in 2011.
He will be launching Alia and Varun in the teen love story, which is a joint production of Red Chillies Entertainment and Dharma Productions. What is surprising however is the fact that despite having director father's both the kids are being launched outside the home camp by Karan Johar.
Apart from Alia and Varun, new actor Siddharth Malhotra will also be part of 'SOTY'.
Karan unveiled the first look of his film today on his microblogging site. The film is slated to go on floor next month. It is also believed that KJo's good friend SRK will do a cameo for this one.
Last year too, Karan introduced directors like Punit Malhotra, Ayaan Mukherjee and Siddharth Malhotra through Dharma productions. It seems that the filmmaker is on a launching spree and is one of the few who take pride in providing platform to new talent. It's a commendable effort by KJo and we wish Siddharth, Varun and Alia best luck
