MUMBAI: Veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi has celebrated her 60th birth anniversary on September 18th with all her Bollywood friends and close associates in a Juhu lounge. Even though she was the star attraction of the day, two other stars took the limelight.Big B Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha had a cold vibe since 2008 when the latter commented that certain film awards had been partial to Mr. Bachchan and his family and Big B also lashed out at Sinha in his blog. Since then, both of them were never seen together and if they met accidentally then the hardly said hello before their own way.
However, on Shabana’s birthday party, both the veterans were seen having a long conversation with each other and they were together almost the entire evening.
One of the invitees was quoted saying that Mr. Bachchan and Sinha saab were involved in a deep discussion throughout the evening.
Shatrughan Sinha was quoted saying that the duo was sharing their old memories. He added that there were no personal problems between them and all that happened in past was totally at professional level. Sinha added that he was feeling very happy for Amitabh, who won the National Awards for Paa. He said that National Awards were controversial every year but this time it has done a fair job.
It seems time has acted as a healer between the two veteran stars and they are reviving their old friendship again.
