Ranbir as house-husband

Ranbir Kapoor, when asked about how he'd pamper his lady love, reports Nimisha Tiwari

Wanna know what Ranbir Kapoor did over the weekend? TOI snooped in on the rockstar's trail and found him giving styling tips alongwith his stylist friend Aalim.

Sporting a green cotton shirt, torn blue jeans and black aviators, Ranbir took the students there completely by surprise as he volunteered to do some impromptu straightening, ironing and blow drying.

But his next statement is what got our attention. "Since I am good at giving my lady love a shampoo, a blow dry and even ironing her hair, I guess I will make a good house husband," said RK Junior.

When one of the young girls asked him how he took care of his own hair, he said, "I've got stubborn wavy hair, so I am perpetually at the mercy of my stylist

Bebo gets the wives' vote

Kareena Kapoor may or may not be flattered. But Saif Ali Khan is going to love it. One hears from a reliable source who was having lunch with two of the top Bollywood wives that Kareena Kapoor is easily their favourite.

And according to them the best choice to romance their star husbands. The reason is simple. For the last three years Kareena has been going steady with Saif Ali Khan. And there has not been even an iota of gossip about her. She has a clean character chit. Says one star-biwi, "Bebo and Saif are so much in love. It is a pleasure to see them together. Kareena really has eyes for no man except her Saifu. And believe me I feel safe when my husband is working with her in a movie."

The wives apparently admitted that Kareena is also one of the most talented actresses and the reigning Bollywood diva. So it is all the more easier for them to convince their star husbands to consider Bebo as their first choice.

It is common knowledge that Kareena has movies with all the leading Khans — RA.1 with Shah Rukh and also Rohit Shetty's remake of Angoor, Short Term Shaadi with Imran, Reema Kagti's thriller with Aamir, Agent Vinod with Saif (here she would be the obvious choice anyway) and Bodyguard with Salman (here Bebo has Salman's entire family's vote in her favour.)

She is also slated to do Golmaal-4 with Ajay Devgn if and when that happens. And her agent is in talks for a Rohit Shetty film with Akshay Kumar.

Despite all the tall claims from the top Bollywood leading men saying that their wives do not interfere in their professional decisions, one has to give this story credence because we know that a top heroine was dropped from Tees Maar Khan because the wife didn't approve of her. And another girl lost out on a movie with Hrithik Roshan earlier for a similar reason. We rest our case here.

Salman isn't bhai for Sonakshi

Sonakshi Sinha is a chip of the old block Shatrughan Sinha. She is very correct in her speeches.

At all award ceremonies the pretty Bihari girl has been saying -- "Thank you Arbaaz bhai." Of course, everyone knows that Arbaaz is the producer of Dabangg and should get her gratitude.

However, clever Sonakshi doesn't ever say thank you Salman bhai to her hero. She usually refers to him as Mr Salman Khan. The rest of the message is quite clear. Why spell it out?

Kareena wears Saif on her tee

Bebo's busy wearing her heart on her sleeve these days!

If Saif has Kareena embedded on his forearm, Bebo is not leaving a single stone to make her love for Saifu obvious either.

The actress was recently spotted wearing a T-shirt which read, "My boyfriend is sexy, rich and handsome."

Come to think of it, the t-shirt quote described none other than her beau Saif and the actress had absolutely no qualms in wearing her heart on her sleeve.

The actress pulled off the grey Tee in style and was in fact enjoying all the attention coming her way!

After setting the trend of size zero, Bebo seems to have begun the trend of describing her darling and sending out a message through her shirts!

Deepika, Priyanka and Katrina... we wonder what your t-shirts would read!

Salman's ready to battle IT

Talking about raids, our very own Sallu did a dual role – on one hand he spoke up to defend a distressed Katrina, on the other, he played it safe for himself.

He was so infuriated with the ongoing raid at Katrina's house, that on his social networking page he said he would demand information under the RTI (Right to Information) Act! The next morning, the world woke up to an elaborate account of his earnings and profits from his NGO, on the same online space. Sallu had explained how 76 per cent of the earning from his NGO goes to charity and the remaining is spent on manufacturing.

We don't know why the Dabangg Khan felt the need to explain so much, but we can tell that he's really trying to 'be smart'. And what we're really wondering is, who would have opened the door for the IT officials, had they visited Salman's place! Hmmmm... Keep thinking, guys.

Sonakshi is competing with Bips

Sonakshi Sinha, who is in " Race 2", will have to rev up the feline quotient to the optimum as director duo Abbas-Mustan want to do away with her 'gaon ki gori' image completely. So the actress is busy shedding extra pounds.

"First, I had to lose weight for my debut in Dabangg. Now I've to get into even better shape for 'Joker' and 'Race 2'. For the last two years that's all I seem to be doing. Losing weight. But I am fine with that. Because it's important for me to look good," said Sonakshi, 23.

After playing the demure village girl in in "Dabangg", Sonakshi will get into a serious kickass mode for "Race 2".

" Bipasha Basu was presented in a very striking way in Race. We've to make sure Sonakshi is equally presented in the sequel," says producer Ramesh Taurani.

But before "Race 2", there is Shirish Kunder's " Joker".

Sonakshi, who got no opportunity to display her dancing skills in "Dabangg", was eagerly looking forward to her own slice of Farah Khan's sizzle in "Joker".

To her dismay Farah and Shrish have informed her that her character gets no chance to dance in their film.

"I requested Farah to please, please make me dance in her husband's film. But my character doesn't have any dance-able opportunities. Sad. We'll have to wait for another occasion."

Perhaps "Race 2" will provide her with a chance to sizzle in a song and a chance to do some serious action.

"Yes," Sonakshi says excitedly, "It's a very guns-and-gadgets subject. And I'm looking forward to doing my own dancing.
